This buckle came on a pair of Dolce & Gabbana pants that had extensions on the waistband that went through the hoops on back of belt and snapped. The pants were badly ripped but buckle was salvaged. You can use any material (leather, fabric) that will fit through the loops as the belt and can fasten with applied snaps, velcro or even safety pins.
