medium size. Curved arms, chain on/off switch. It was made by the Modeline Co in California, although it is not marked. The design is in the style of Adrian Pearsall – although I am not sure who the designer was.
There is no shade included – it looks great with a fairly tall skinny shade that sits low on lamp.
Lamp is about 11 inches across the largest part of base, it is about 21 inches tall to the top of the finial.
picture frames pair antique carved wood painted with green floral prints
This is a pair of old wooden carved picture frames that have been painted ivory or cream and the carving is highlighted with a dull gold color. Very romantic French country style. The prints are muted greens and cream colors and are lillies or ground orchids. They are covered with glass. A look at the picture of the backs of the frames shows that both are secured with nails one has an original (or at least old) thin piece of wood and the other has been replaced with cardboard.
I am assuming the carved areas on the sides, top and bottom and around the interior are made of gesso – which is a kind of plaster. Therefore it will most likely be impossible to strip the paint without destroying the carvings.
Hard to take pictures of glass covered items… I try to take better pictures and add them (to listing) when/if possible.
